My earliest memories are of books and words.
In elementary school, I'd spend recess trying to memorize the Merriam Webster dictionary hoarded from the library. Although these playground study sessions did little for my social life, they nurtured the early seeds of a lifelong relationship with language and communication that continues to enrich my work as an editor and writing consultant.
I am a creative, well-rounded thinker who excels in merging big picture ideas with the particularities of supporting details. I hold a PhD in European History and an MA in German Studies (University of Cincinnati), as well as a BA in International Studies (University of Wisconsin Oshkosh). I serve on the editorial team for the Centre for Reformation and Renaissance Studies (CRRS) at the University of Toronto. I am also a member of the Editors' Association of Canada (EAC).
In addition to editing and consulting, I write and podcast about religious history and culture.
